CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES

Everything is changing, the world doesn’t stand still, and the majority of Network users also change their attitude to the world web. The reason for that is «cloud technologies» which set «fashion» on the Internet use and files storage. Nowadays Amazon, Twitter, Facebook work exactly «behind a cloud» and those «cursors» which are the base for Google Docs and Gmail services.

The term «cloud» means a network of the computers which ensure the functioning of a certain system, providing consumer with the service in a form of software or data storage use.

The majority of websites and server applications work on specific computers or servers. The feature which distinguishes «cloud» from classical servers is the fact that it uses the resources as the global virtual computer where applications work irrespective of each specific computer and its configuration. In this case the application as if «floating in the cloud of resources», making the hardware of each specific computer unimportant for the work of this application.

With the development of broadband Internet access, the need to have the application run on your computer (or on your company’s website) is becoming less and less justified. The increasing part of modern software, used by today’s consumers, is based on web technologies.

How does it work?

To understand the principle of «cloud technologies», you should imagine the «puff» cloud generally consisting of «internal» (back-end) and «user» (front-end) layers. The front-end layers are what you see and deal with as a user. For example, using the Gmail service, you deal with software, which works on a front-end «cloud» layer. Internal layers consist of equipment and the program services ensuring the functioning of that interface which is provided to you at the «user» layer.

As all «cloud» computers are set to work together, the total power of these computers is available to applications, as if they run on specific standalone computer. In addition «cloud technologies» allow considerable level of work flexibility.

Depending on your needs, you can raise or lower the level of resources used by a cloud after which you need to use extra equipment. And also you can use fewer resources selected to work if it isn’t a priority.

These cloud services may be offered in a public, private or hybrid network.

The main models of cloud computing service are known as service software (SaaS), service platform (PaaS), and service infrastructure (Iaas).

Cloud computing is evolutionary long-term development for the purpose of creation of architecture which provide the united, automated and considering features of client devices cloudy services.
